Katie Anderson wears many hats — and wears them well! She’s a wife, mother, teacher, counsellor, rancher, and a self-proclaimed karaoke star.Passionate about both agriculture and mental health, Katie is a strong advocate for mental wellness in the ag community. Trained in Mental Health First Aid and Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST), she brings both lived experience and professional insight to the table.Through her work with NFMHA, Katie hopes to change the conversation around mental health — helping folks in agriculture see seeking support not as a sign of weakness, but as a powerful act of wellness. She's especially excited to connect with students who are interested in becoming Ag-Informed Therapists and supporting rural communities in meaningful, impactful ways.Let’s give Katie a warm welcome — and keep the conversation growing! @agcounsellorkate#MentalHealthMatters #AgMentalHealth #NFMHA ...
