Lauren Van Ewyk is an engaging speaker, registered social worker, foster mom and agricultural mental health advocate. She has appeared in numerous radio, television and print articles concerning the issues of adoption, foster care, mental wellness and mental health in the agriculture sector.

Lauren works with businesses, individuals and families all across Canada to find hope and healing.

She and her husband raise sheep in southwestern Ontario.

Dr. Leann Benedetti

Dr. Leann Benedetti is an international speaker, trauma-informed, ICF Certified Coach, and a Veterinarian with 27 years in clinical practice, including mixed animal practice and practice ownership. Leann specializes in Self-Leadership and building awareness and literacy around how we engage with emotions, character strengths and stress impacts our influence on ourselves and others.

Specific training in physician development, mental health first aid, The Working Mind, psychological health and safety, and trauma informed practices, combined with her lived experience allows Leann to bring a number of diverse perspectives to conversations relating to leadership, wellbeing, mentorship and professional quality of life for veterinary professionals.

Leann’s goal as a speaker is to have authentic conversations in support of connection that integrate disciplines and wisdom, helping build communities that are collaborative, inclusive, innovative, and forward thinking.

Carrie Pollard

Carrie is a warm and engaging speaker that leaves her audience feeling both calmed and inspired. She is a registered social worker, wife of a grain farmer, and mom of five busy children.

Carrie is available to present in-person in Wellington, Waterloo, Grey, and Dufferin counties and virtually across North America. She is accustomed to the fast-paced, highly competitive lifestyle of cash cropping, and as such, enjoys teaching others about bringing balance through mindfulness, self-regulation, and self-compassion.

As a couples therapist, trained through the Gottman Institute, Carrie also facilitates workshops on relationship-building, communication skills, and how to have difficult conversations.

Calli Thorne

Calli Thorne is a keynote speaker, global leadership trainer, mindset coach, and multi-business entrepreneur. She is married to her husband CJ and they have three young children. Calli grew up on her family’s farm and ranch in northwest North Dakota and today they operate multiple enterprises including a backgrounding feedlot, cow/calf operation, run yearlings, and they sell beef directly to consumers.

Calli is a certified member of the John Maxwell Leadership Team specializing in personal and professional development including conflict resolution, communication, mindset impact, and understanding behavioral styles. She also offers Mental Health First Aid certification classes, a variety of masterminds, and recently launched an online course titled “Finding YOU Discovering IT.” She hosts rural women’s masterminds and offers 1-1 coaching to a variety of clientele. She also works with farm and ranch families to improve their communication, which in return, builds better relationships for future generations to carry on the family legacy.

Agricultural leadership and entrepreneurial success are just two of the passions she enjoys pursuing. She does this while connecting with others and helping them to BE better so they can LIVE life better. This includes improving themselves as individuals, their families, businesses, community, and the agricultural industry as a whole.

Bridgette Readel, farm kid extraordinaire, North Dakota State University graduate, passionate agronomist who lives in Hunter, ND.  She and her husband Randy, are both heavily involved in ag and the parents of two adult children who are mostly off the payroll. Although she graduated with a degree in ag education & extension, she is now busy teaching adults now regarding production agriculture and truly enjoys to share the bright and positive message of ag in North Dakota.  Bridgette is a certified mental health first aid responder and values the impact of listening to others and helping them find resources for better mental health. She will present and share as a keynote speaker, panelist or in other capacities to best serve the needs of your event.
